Tropical Storm Aere

Tropical Storm Aere
Tropical Storm Aere

Its only the end of June but we are just finding new ways to keep cool. Sure we can go to the waterpark, go to the beach, or just spray ourselves with the garden hose. But for those living in Japan and South Korea, they are just days away from being wet with monsoon rains. Tropical Storm Aere has just manifested from the Pacific Ocean and its making its way North, hurdling towards Japan and making touchdown in South Korea.

As this is monsoon season for Asian nations, we can expect more severe storms and typhoons to batter these nations. But these are just the beginning storms. Those living in Asia need to take heed for what is to come in July and August. Well, for the western hemisphere, our time is coming. July will be the start and August will be the breaking point for all-new devastating storms. For those living in China, Japan, and South Korea, get out those raincoats and umbrellas and prepare for aa refreshing good time. Start taking steps to prepare for a very busy monsoon season. More updates to follow.

TS Aere is projected to head north, gathering strength as it makes its way to Fukuoka, Japan then completely drenching all of South Korea. From my travels, South Korean and Japan have the infrastructure to withstand the storms. However, as any storm can change direction or strengthen up, it is the possibility of landing down in North Korea that worries me.
Update 7.3.2022

As projected, TS Aere, which diverted route to South Korea to favor more Japan with its life-giving water, is continuing its path to Japan, but will weaken to a Tropical Depression upon entering the mainland. What this means is all people in mainland Japan will get a cool summer shower, a refreshing morning dew in the Land of the Rising Sun. While no serious cause for concern, we will continue to provide updates should the severity changes.

If you ever been to Japan and notice its lush green forests and heavy vegetation, than give this tropical storm a thank you for keeping Japan green.
